Product Features
Eco-Friendly Chemical – Low levels of harmful impurities and heavy metals, compliant with REACH, RoHS, and SVHC standards.
Low Metal Release – Compared to conventional zinc oxide with the same formulation and composition, CS AZO releases only half the amount of zinc.
Exclusive Patent – Core-shell technology facilitates ZnO crystallization and plate-like alignment, reducing polarity and improving dispersion.
Excellent Dispersion – Lower polarity enhances the physical performance of CS AZO, fillers, and rubber chemicals, reducing mixing time by 5–10% and improving production efficiency.
What is Active Zinc Oxide?
It is a special form of Zinc Oxide (CS AZO) characterized by a high specific surface area, extremely fine particle size, and extremely high chemical activity.
- Why is it called “Active”?
1. High Specific Surface Area: This refers to zinc oxide with a more porous structure and finer particles. Due to the large contact surface, it requires a lower dosage and exhibits faster reaction rates.
2. Extremely Small Particle Size: The particle size is typically at the nanoscale , whereas ordinary zinc oxide particles are larger.
3. Crystal Structure: During the manufacturing process (typically a wet chemical process), a specific crystalline structure (or crystal growth) is formed, which further enhances its chemical reactivity.
